Nate is still doing good. He is stable and waiting for surgery. Nate is schedule for surgery on Thursday at 7:30 am. They removed his chest tube and they took him off NO2 and they have also weened him off alot of medicine. Nate is doing has well or better than they expected. His blood gases have been very good. Please keep praying for him he has a long way to go. Phil and I have got to change his diaper and Phil always ends up with the poopy ones. The doctors and nurses have been amazing and are taking excellent care of him. Thank you so much for all the prayers they have definitely been heard. We love our little man so much and are so proud of his progress.

ReplyDeleteThat is TERRIFIC news that they have removed the chest tube, NO2 and weaning him off the medicine. I can't tell you how excited that I am for the both of you. I know that the road will still be long with some bumps in it, but all of this information is sooooooooo encouraging. I pray several times a day for ya'll, and I know that you can feel your family being lifted up. Nate is definitely a blessing and I am just so excited and encouraged by your postings. Please continue the great work of keeping everyone updated on his progress!
Love,
Kristen Bray

ReplyDeleteHello Lindsey and Phil,
ReplyDeleteI ran over to the Meadowbrook library to look at Nate's pics. (I haven't been able to find my modem for over a week.) I love the picture of his face - finally got to see his lips! He looks very beautiful and strong, and we are so glad that he is doing well. Amara and I hope to come down soon. Thanks for keeping this blog updated with pics of you and Nate. I enjoy seeing his progress and how he is growing. I hope Riley can see him soon. Hope you all are well. Love, Sandra
We are praying for a speedy recovery for this fine young man!!

Hey guys! I am so happy I can't stand it! I can't believe things have gone so smoothly! I know it is God! He has made Nate so strong and gave him a Mommy and Daddy he knew he would need! You all have been right there, and that is the best medecine ever. He knows, believe me he knows! I know it isn't easy but it will get better. Remember what we said about the big picture! Thanks for keeping me informed as I know how hectic things are! I love you all and will see you when I come up! Give Rye kisses and tell her I will be coming to play, ok! Give Cindy a big hug and tell her she is one of the best Grandmas in the world! I know a couple others and I don't know what we would have done without Davy's and my family! They were there through the good and the bad, as I know your Mom is! Love you ALL so much!
